5 Ways to Make Your Hair More Shinier or Brighter Naturally - StephneyBlog

We can easily make our hair shinier without trying chemical dyes or bleaches by using some natural ingredients instead. Here's how to get the most out of the results.

Women like to have hair always in order and often use chemical dyes to adjust their colour or to soften it. The problem is that these products contain such ingredients those are not healthy for our skin and hair that makes our hair to dry and damaged them.

Therefore it would be good where ever is possible, to use natural products that make your hair shiny and keep them healthy and strong.

There are several DIY beauty recipes to make your hair shiny that you can prepare comfortably at home without having to go to the hairdresser.

Cool isn't it?

However, please note that, since these are natural ingredients, you can not expect the effect of a traditional blonde tint or chemical shine. The result will depend very much on the basic colour of the hair if these are black or dark brown you cannot expect it to shine like a brown blonde.

I know you are wondering that ingredient through which you can make your hair more shiny and healthy. 😃

Well, These are like the Cassia (Natural Henna), chamomile (daisy-like plants), turmeric, cinnamon and also lemon & honey! However, it is essential to know the DIY recipes in a correct manner.
=============================================================================

1. Cassia (natural Henna)

Using cassia is a great way to give your hair golden shine. In herbal medicine, you often find it under the name of neutral henna and can be used alone or in combination with other herbs or plants such as chamomile or rhubarb (in combination with these plants the shine will be better). 👌

The advantage of Cassia:

  • Strengthen the hairs
  • Makes hair brighter

Ingredients :

  • Hot Water
  • Cassia Powder

Method :

Put the amount (as per you use) of powder in a bowl and slowly pour hot water until the cassia has melted completely (it should not have lumps) and the mixture should become like the consistency of yogurt.

2. Turmeric (Cucurma)

With turmeric, it is capable of giving blond highlights or intensifying your natural light colour, but you need to take a little care as you risk getting too yellow an effect.

Ingredients :

  • Turmeric Powder (1 teaspoon)
  • Water - 1 Cup

Method :
  • Dissolve turmeric well in hot water, let it cool down and then apply to dry hair.
  • You can keep the mixture from 20 to 120 minutes depending on whether you want a more or less strong effect.
  • Put a cap or cover on your head to better keep the mixture in place.
  • Rinse and then wash your hair normally.
  • The mixture should be repeated every month.

The doses of turmeric that can be used vary depending on the length of the hair and on the basis of the desired effect. We advise you to always start with just one teaspoon of powder by first doing a test on a hidden area of the hair.

3. Chamomile (Daisy-like flower)

Chamomile is one of the most classic lightening remedies and we can further enhance its effect by subsequently letting the hair dry in the sun (of course this can only be done in summer).

Ingredients :
  • 3 or 4 sachets or loose dried flowers of Chamomile
  • Water
  • Saucepan

Method :
  • Bring the water to boil and add the sachets or dried flowers covering with a saucer.
  • Allow to cool and then pour the solution over hairs.
  • Finally, you can let the hair dry in the sun or naturally without using a hair dryer.
  • Wash them after they dry.

Alternate Method :

Put the infusion of chamomile in a spray container and then spray it over the entire length of the hair. Finally, proceed to the washing as usual.

4. Lemon

Even the lemon can be an ingredient which helps our hair to shine brighter. However, it should not be used pure but diluted in water.

Ingredients :
  • 2 Lemons
  • 1 Cup Water

Method :
  • Squeeze the lemon and mix it with water
  • Apply it on your hair and leave it for at least 30 minutes.
  • After the time rinsed with water, apply some balm (the lemon tends to dry the hair) and rinse again.

5. Honey

Honey mixed with balsam is a remedy that can help your hair to shine.

Ingredients :
  • 3 tablespoons of acacia honey
  • 2 Tablespoon neutral balsam

Method :
  • Mix the two ingredients and spread the mixture on the hair as a mask.
  • Keep it for at least 30-40 minutes.
  • Then rinse it and let them be dry naturally.

Tip: To get more shine in hair you can add lemon juice to the mixture.

To activate its lightening power we recommend using cinnamon mixed with a neutral hair conditioner.

Ingredients :
  • Cinnamon powder
  • Balsam
  • Honey 2/3 tablespoons (optional)

Method :
  • Add the cinnamon powder to the hair conditioner.
  • Mix it until the two ingredients are uniform and reach the right consistency.
  • If you want to have a greater effect, even fabric softener and can also add honey.
  • Then apply on the hair, put a cap and hold for a few hours or even all night.
  • Finally, rinse and proceed to normal washing.
